I think is an IE setting on your side.  I can log in and then come back 
to the email and click on your link and go straight to the support 
archives.  Maybe a cookie setting?

I have http://crosswire.org/mailman/private/sword-support/ as an IE 
6 browser favorite, but, for me, it invariably takes me to the 
authentication page. This happens even during the same browser session. 
Is this "operator error" on my part. Is there a setting I could change?
