Also, if you're working on OSIS docs much, I would suggest a good XML editor such as Topologi. It will make your life a lot easier than working in a regular text editor and using external validation. (This does not necessarily hold if you're using emacs. But if you're using emacs, you're already enlightened and you don't need my advice. Go emacs.)
