I've got no complaints about the design - seems workable - even in lynx and links text only browsers.  The only problem I had was that (for some reason) the parchment background took a long time to load the first time in AOL (worked fine in Opera and Mozilla and straight IE).  Maybe a no-background version would be a good option.
