OK guys,
Thanks for all the reports. New version of InstallMgr.exe is available:http://www.crosswire.org/sword/ALPHAcckswwlkrfre22034820285912/alpha/InstallMgr.exe
I think all the troubles have been fixed. It should be smart about old install configurations and migrate them to the new location.

Ok, that works except if the installmgr.conf file remains in the root dir,
it grabs that one instead and gets confused, something an upgrade user will
run into. We should look into cleaning up the directory of old installMgr
stuff and moving any usefull files into the new dir.
The rest of InstallMgr seems to work fine. I did several installs and
removals and they all acted as expected. :-)

David and Don, Thank for the reports. I'll try to look at it today. I moved the directory for the configuration files into a subdirectory called: installMgr, to keep all the InstallMgr clutter outside of the root of the application directory. My guess is that you need to create the directory (obviously something we need to add to the code to be sure it's created). Let me know if creating the directory fixes things for
you.

I cannot manage remote locations. The old ones I had do not show as

InstallMgr compiled using all the newest API install functions is located at:
There shouldn't be any new functionality, but we should test to be sure it's stable enough for the new CD.
