Yes, this would be a great help. It is a major task though, and would have to happen under Troy's overview. Would you be willing to invest in that? What we need is a really flexible system that allows support for any kind of versification that was used in the past and that may come in future. I got some ideas how to do this, I can post them if you say you're interested in doing it. Please consider this.
