heya Chris + others... just a couple of things... have tried to use previous versions of gs, and even the new cvs branch (gnomesword1) all to no avail. the gnomesword1 looked promising as it compiled all the backend stuff, but failed in the gnome subdirectory... was looking thru the porting notes used for the fink ports, and the only one of interest was for gtkhtml and said:
gtkhtml - HTML rendering/printing/editing engine. This is GtkHTML, a lightweight HTML rendering/printing/editing engine. It was originally based on KHTMLW, but is now being developed independently of it. Web site: http://www.gnome.org/ Porting Notes: Renamed Spell.idl to SpellI.idl, because it will overwrite spell.h. Added -module libtool flag to http-storage-module. Fixed declaration and definition mismatch. testgtkhtml uses functions from libwww, but doesn't ensure the appropriate libraries are listed on the link command line. The quick fix is to get the flags from libwww-config on the fly in the Makefile. anyway, don't think that affects us, but am now going to stop and retry some other time (well, have only been touching this on and off for the last couple of days)... on another note, I seem to have misplaced my keys.txt file... I think something happened to it in my migration from my linux box to this OS X box (much nicer, prettier, and -- actually, looks are all that matter, aren't they? ;) -- 1 sam 16:7 probably means God doesn't think so, tho...)... where can I get a new copy? /end of nic's ramblings for the day and month... ybic nic... :) message: > From: "Chris Little" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Date: Thu May 23, 2002 05:11:06 Australia/Sydney > To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Subject: RE: [sword-devel] Mac OS X update [non-native front-end stuff] > Reply-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > Good to hear you're getting a bit further with GS than I was last time I > tried. > > BT will never run on OS X.
