The Viet module was updated to a UTF-8 source from a
font-specific encoding. Two new English modules were added (both locked) Common (the
Common Edition New Testament) and BWE (Bible in Worldwide English). And two Japanese modules were added JapNSKI and JapKUG, both in x-euc-jp encoding, a variant of JIS X 208, so until I finish
up those encoding filters, they won’t be of much use. I also went through the entire collection and entered Lang=
values for all modules and MinimumVersion=1.5.2 for
all modules requiring 1.5.2+, which includes all ThML
or UTF-8 texts. And a few modules
were marked with Encoding= values, such as all modules using Win1256 or Symbol
encodings. And finally, I removed the ArabicLtoR,
ChiGU-GB, and ChiGU-B5 modules since they seemed to
be redundant & were presently non-functional anyway. ChiGU-UTF8 was then renamed simply ChiGU. Does anyone think we need to keep the .conf files that are
in the module directories themselves?
They’re never used and just seem to cause more work. I’ll update them as well if anyone
thinks we should, but have so far only updated the mods.d
.conf files. Oy. --Chris |
