Since 2005 we offer high speed Internet connexion for rural area (in Neuchâtel
moutains with some projects somewhere else) with professional outdoor Wireless
links/relays (free 5GHz).
We are now ready to offer triple play for our clients.

in Les Pléiades with radio links.

Hi all,
As it is my first post, I'll introduce myself a bit.
I'm Francois, the netadmin from ESL Education SA. We have ~50 remote offices
across the world, linked to our HQ in Montreux. For now we use only IP-Plus
from Swisscom (100/100) and SDSL links in our remote offices. We'll soon (2014)
upgrade everything, like starting working on multihoming in Montreux and we'll
see how to make things better for the remote offices. We notably have latency
issues (200+ms) with latin america and asia.
So I'm not a network operator, but would greatly benefit from your inputs. Feel
free to contact me off-list or send me a SMS when you're around Montreux to
have a quick coffee.
I just have a quick question while we're at it :
I have a contact that sometimes work from home in Les Pléiades (above Vevey).
It's in the mountains, so as you might imagine, the DSL from Swisscom is far
from sufficient. I'm sure there's alternative solutions such as wireless links
to the Mont Pèlerin (direct sight), or Rocher de Naye (not too far) ? Maybe
satellite ? We're talking about less than CHF 200.- / month.
If anyone provides this or can give me some contacts, that would be great.
