maybe an extra sentence mentioning the fact that {geom,ufs}-labels and
ufsids
are preferred over device nodes nowadays would be a good idea?
For those of us using a ZFS root pool built out of /dev/gpt/ devices,
will these automagically pick up the new names?
You should not notice transition. GPT labels should stay as they were.
