OK, good to know. Head version of devfs should not have the problems you
described in the commit message.

I don't have plans to MFC it to stable/7. r213526 is related to larger
set of devfs changes I committed last year.

OK, so what should I do to resolve the issue in question? Should I go forward and MFC less generic patch to geom_label code to strip out the leading slashes from the ext2fs labels?
