Not sure if you want to do this for mfi_disk.c, etc.? Logical disks in mfi(4) have an optional volume name for example (the BIOS typically fills it in with "RAID 5" or some such when you create a volume in the BIOS) that might be worth exporting as the description for mfidX devices.
