I think in practice that len would never be > sizeof(ACPI_RESOURCE).
You could probably get by with using a KASSERT() instead:
KASSERT(res->Length <= sizeof(ACPI_RESOURCE), "resource too large"));
bcopy(res, req->acpi_res, res->Length);
