Start importing the basic OFED linux compatibility layer changes made
by dumbbell@ to be able to compile this layer as a dependency module.
Clean up some Makefiles and remove the no longer used OFED define.
Build files, NOTES files, .. still referenced the “OFED” option. I put it back
in for now to unbreak LINT builds. Please cleanup properly. Can always put it
into reviews and find someone to make sure you caught all places.
OK, then I need to do a universe build simply.
