Wouldn't it be useful for automating backing up config directories? I'd think about copying, say, /etc and /usr/local/etc to sometemporary place, changing owner to non-privileged user, and then commit changes (removals should be treated specially, of course) to some kind of SCM? Or, does such project exist already? I failed to find it, but maybe my goole-fu is lacking necessary components ;) -- Sincerely, D.Marck [DM5020, MCK-RIPE, DM3-RIPN] [ FreeBSD committer: ma...@freebsd.org ] ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *** Dmitry Morozovsky --- D.Marck --- Wild Woozle --- ma...@rinet.ru *** ------------------------------------------------------------------------ _______________________________________________ svn-src-all@freebsd.org mailing list http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/svn-src-all To unsubscribe, send any mail to "svn-src-all-unsubscr...@freebsd.org"
