I think so, but I also think we should decide what to do with emu10kx (if anything) as I suspect it will remain GPL polluted. The emu10k1 and emu10kx drivers essentially support the same hardware, with a few exceptions (if memory serves me right -- I think there are a few cards that emu10kx does not support, someone should check with Yuriy).
