Yes. And in this case the workaround should be pretty trival. As I noted elsewhere, we've supported bootstrapping from current-2 since ~FreeBSD 6.x. Juniper needed it for a long time and they maintained it in the tree. The cost is generally tiny (though there has been one issue with clang that required an upgrade to the host compiler due to a bug in the host compiler so that it could compile the compiler). This should be fixed. Glad to see Ian's on it.
