It's an OctoMic feeding a Millennia Media HV-316 microphone pre-amp. The HV-316 is set to 30 dB of gain. In post-production, to hear the noise we boosted the level of the self-noise another 30 dB. So, the recording has a total of 60 dB of very clean gain applied.

With the 30 dB of gain, the self noise level is at -81.
