Hi all!
Although I do understand your concerns and anger, I learned from life,
that every coin has two sides.
Yes! - Somebody made a mistake. That's never the cause for applause.
I could imagine, that there is someone of the Zylia team and she/he
tried to do their best to spread the word about Zylia products.
In the end it's their job. The job that pays their bills and buy them
food for their children and their parents, if they need support.
If I look at my email account, I do get a lot of unwanted emails a day.
It doesn't make me happy, but after clicking two times on my mouse, the
problem is finally solved!
And if there are too many, the shift key is a good assistant to get rid
of many unwanted emails.
When I started my first company (a small PA rental company), I was
having trouble finding customers and especially customers who payed the
bills I sent them.
I think the same applies to Zylia.
It costs you a lot of money to develop something new, then it costs you
even more money to make it a product people will buy.
After they bought it, you are expected to support your customers and
these people are also expecting a fair wage.
I presume Zylias business could run better as it currently does. They
also most probably suffer from the inflation and that all people have
limited money to spend.
Think about yourself! What would you buy first, food for your children
or a new microphone? Difficult question, right?
When you see your costs sum up much faster and higher than expected, you
may become desperate and you may overlook some "unwritten rules" or you
may just make a mistake.
Because you know the amount of money on your bank-account and this
number isn't much more then a middle-three-digit number and it's a long
ride until you will get new money.
And there is the jumping point. What if the company you work for,
doesn't sell enough products to pay your wage?
I wish my "freetime-budget" could be raised, but it doesn't look like
for the rest of this year and most likely for the next year too.
If you are in a more comfortable situation, congratulations, but maybe
you have a thought for the people who are trying their very best to come
close to your position. But they can't!
Because no one is buying their products.
I am prepared to do some great recordings with my Zylia ZM-1 tomorrow
evening when there will be dramatic thunderstorms and lightning,
according to the weather forecast!
And if the recordings will be at least "okay", I will share them with
whom ever is interested. 3OA, 24 bit WAV, 48 kHZ (ZM-1), FOA, 32 bit
WAV, 192 kHZ (homemade) and DMS, 24 bit, 96 kHz and some ORTF and EBS
stereo setups.
Just drop me a line and I will provide you with a download link and you
may do whatever you would like to do with it, leave alone, that selling
them alone is prohibited, but you may use them in any audio arrangement.
And as an inseparable part of such an arrangement you may sell them.
Does this sound like a deal?
And if you like a closing comment:
I like Zylia as they are walking new ways. Not anything is perfect, yet,
but they are honest, fair, very responsive and kind.
And they are human beings.
Take care and stay healthy!
Cheers
Thorsten

I was getting ready to send the same reply when you did it first, and I
thought that was a proper reply.
It's sad to hear that they harass somebody for a fair comment, especially
as company representatives, which doubles the creepiness.
Take care,
Best,
Pan

Hello all,
A few weeks ago I replied to ZYLIA spamming this list:
I do not want to spam you with marketing info
Then why are you doing it ?
and a few days later again, in response to a message to my private
email address.
Now they seem determined to continue the harassment, just today
I got three uninvited messages.
The only thing I can recommend is not to enter into any business
with a company that apparently lacks any policy regarding acceptable
behaviour on the internet.
Ciao,
