Hi Tom, Nils Meyer-Kahlen and I developed HOAST, a 360° video player with up to 4th-order Ambisonics support: https://hoast.iem.at/ <https://hoast.iem.at/> https://github.com/thomasdeppisch/hoast360 <https://github.com/thomasdeppisch/hoast360> http://www.aes.org/e-lib/browse.cfm?elib=20828 <http://www.aes.org/e-lib/browse.cfm?elib=20828>
We already did some tests with live streaming and they looked very promising. What is missing for HOA live streaming with HOAST is just a fitting server configuration which handles RTMP -> MPEG DASH conversion. We will probably look into this later this year, but I know some people which are already working on this independent of us. If you write me an email I can give you the contacts.
