Ah yes…of course :-)   Though my latest Erato LP is from 1979, and it still 
says Gravure Universelle, just in case anyone out there still wasn’t sure, I 
guess.

"Gravure universelle" was used during part of the 60´s 

to describe a Stereo LP disk as being compatible 

with playback using a mono cartridge.
