You don’t need a tablet, I just sometimes take it to monitor the tetramic 
binaurally if not in the field, and space and weight isn’t a problem.
I don’t think you can gang the preamps of the H6 or Focusrite, so you may have 
to record a test tone on each channel and match in post.
It’s really important that all the gains are the same, otherwise you will lose 
some spatial accuracy. 
Digitally controlled preamps are better for this, as it’s easier to match 
during the record. The MOTU 4pre has digitally controlled preamps. They are not 
gangable, but I can quickly adjust all four pots to the same setting quickly.
