"The Encounter" a Complicite theatre piece by Simon McBurney with
binaural sound is on the following site until the 8th March.

Started, I think, at The Edinburgh Festival, then recently been at
The Barbican in London. Solo live performance with a dummy head, live
sound sources, and pre-recorded material.
Binaural material sounds fairly convincing, if left/right
exaggerated. Front/rear confusion not obvious, possibly because one
can see what is going on.
Worth a look. There is about 20 minutes before it starts in anything
like earnest, but it's easy to skip though it.
