If I remember rightly there is a migrating frequency notch/peak above 10 khz that changes according to the height of the sound sources ( ie it migrates upwards in frequency if the sound is higher) . This frequency notch/peak (direction dependent filtering) is dictated by the angle of incidence of a sound reflecting off the pinnae into the ear canal.
