There is another method. For this you should

- Configure your mail SW so it knows what to put in the From:
  header of your message (normally your full name).
- Configure your mail SW so it doesn't send HTML.
- When replying, only quote the relevant part(s) of the original
  message, and certainly not a complete digest (more than 600
  lines in this case).
- Put your text after the quoted part(s) you respond to.
- Use the ENTER key to format your text into readable lines.
- If the From: header does not contain your name, at least
  add it at the end so we know who you are.
