Looking into Aaron Heller ambi decoder toolbox might help your work.
Anyway, I mentioned the binaural Harpex decoder.

This is obviously a horizontal-only binaural decoder. (Svein Berge very
probably has an upsampling binaural 3D decoder available, as well.)
We're also on this mailing list and happy to discuss the use of Ambisonics
for VR. We've got a 12 channel array in our Palo Alto office if anyone
wants a demo.

So, are you (JauntVR) also using 12 virtual speakers for your
"experimental" binaural (HT) decoder?
