hmm. doesn't this patent discuss the opposite direction - i just read
the abstract, but it appears to be dealing with binaural 2 channel
reproduction of multichannel content...
in any case, it looks perfectly boring at a casual glance :)
Confirmed, but look also to the claims. (Much more < patent defining >
than the abstract.)
This is a patent application. Whereas I don't believe that claim 1 will
be granted as it is, it looks like they might receive some more narrow
patent. (Claim 1 AND one or more subclaims.)
Jörn: Look to [0020], before stating that things are supposed to be
boring. Cos you can't talk about patent applications you don't read. :-P
