Many thanks for the comments. This is as I expected. I struggle my own desire for small appliance-like devices over the compexity of computers. Yet, around my home there are a dozen computers. I like single board computers for thngs like routers, because of their low power, low noise, low maintainance requirements. I suppose a media PC could be assembled in a similar fashion.
