Hi!

My name is George Kierstein and I was wondering about possible
scholarships/artist rates since the symposium site is still lacking
attendance rate information.

I am part of a group of 8 artists from Asheville NC who are putting on an
Ambisonic event/show on June 18th. We are very excited about the artistic
capabilities of the technology and would love to be able to come to the
symposium. We aren't researchers but have been working with the generally
available tools for our compositions. We are all budget-concious as is our
show - we are planning on using a 8-speaker cube layout for sound
re-enforcement system.

Not to sound stereotypical, but we all fit the barely-employed artist
description rather well so any kind of financial aid to be able to attend
would be really welcome!

Thanks
G
