Hi,
I sent this out yesterday but I think it got kicked out of the system because I
attached an image..

HI Folks,
I'm a producer/director that was searching for information on surround when I
came across your group.
I'm in the process of recording and collecting audio for my current project.
This is a personal project
I'm testing that contains my photos and videos of landscapes shot on my
motorcycle trips. I've been shooting
using the Canon 5D MkII which has provided excellent quality. While shooting
the visuals I wasn't concerned with
capturing the audio. Shame on me....
So, now I'm out collecting sounds using my Zoom H4n and a couple Peluso mics in
dual X/Y config. So far it seems to be working.

What I wondering about is if anyone here has experience with mastering the
final mixes? Is there a preferred output?.. DTS HD, Dolby???
I would prefer not to buy a encoder if possible. My software comes with Dolby.
I'll be creating both BD & DVD.
I use Digital Performer & Soundtrack Pro.

Also, would any of the members here be interested in suppling sound? I'm
interested in open airy recordings that can be looped.
I don't want them to be to dense or busy. Quad is the preferred format and at
least 48/24. 5.1 is ok also.

I hope you guys don't mind me asking to many questions.... Finding this group
seemed like a god send.
Cheers,
Danny
