In particular,
"If you are on an older release we suggest upgrading to SeaMonkey 2.49.5
first."

Thank You all for your reply's, I installed 2.49.5 and then installed
2.53.6 and all is well. After this I uninstalled SM 2.53.6 32 bit
version and installed SM 2.53.6 64 bit. All is well!
