Only nerds can read the meeting notes. Ordinary users need a couple of
years' training to decipher them. So it would be good marketing practice
to post a pre-digested version for the masses.
The answer to question one is the interval depends on when the new
version is ready.
SeaMonkey 2.49.4 was released on July 27, 2018.
SeaMonkey 2.49.5 was released on September 4, 2019
SeaMonkey 2.53.1b1 was released on January 18, 2020 and is getting close
to an official 2.53.1.
