I set a preference to clear my cache on terminating SeaMonkey. 1. On the menu bar, select [Edit > Preferences]. 2. On the left side of the Preferences windows, select [Privacy & Security > Private Data]. 3. On the Private Data pane, check the checkboxes for "Always clear my private data when I close SeaMonkey" and "Cache". 4. Select the OK button. However, since setting that, I decided that my broadband Internet connection no longer makes caching useful. Another issue is that a large number of Web pages are now generated "on the fly" when requested, which means cached versions of such Web pages are always obsolete. Thus, I did the following: 1. On the menu bar, select [Edit > Preferences]. 2. On the left side of the Preferences windows, select [Advanced > Cache]. 3. On the Cache pane, clear the checkbox for "Let SeaMonkey manage the size of my cache" and set 0 for "Use up to nnn MB of disk space for the cache". 4. Select the OK button. -- David E. Ross <http://www.rossde.com> Consider: * Most state mandate that drivers have liability insurance. * Employers are mandated to have worker's compensation insurance. * If you live in a flood zone, flood insurance is mandatory. * If your home has a mortgage, fire insurance is mandatory. Why then is mandatory health insurance so bad?? _______________________________________________ support-seamonkey mailing list [email protected] https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/support-seamonkey
