One longstanding gripe I've had with Wladimir Palant is that I can
never tell what the latest version is by visiting his website. So
if the software says "no updates available" I guess I must have the
latest version, but that doesn't rule out the possibility that the
update checker is broken.
Adblock Plus 2.9 is for SM 2.48 or greater. That is why you will
not see any update available for 2.46.
Heard and understood upthread.
My issue is that knowing my installed version, I can't go to the ABP
site and compare that number with the latest greatest and tell if I need
to update. All well and good for the desktop version since I can go to
SeaMonkey's extension list and "Check for Updates," but for the Android
version, all I can do is download the latest version and compare the
filename in my download folder to the filename of the previous download.
