I am now using Windows 7 Professional on a used Hp Compaq 6200 office
computer. I am new to Win 7.....

When I am in SeaMonkey and press 'Win Key - D' I can go back to the
Desktop (common to all windows versions). I can have several
different programs running simultaneously.

I have a LAYERED SeaMonkey Icon on the Lower Left and have to choose
which layer (SM TAB) to go to instead of just returning to SM. PITA.

If I click a different Icon (lower Left), I get the different program.

NOW - question....is there a QUICK method to switch between running
programs in Win 7 ? A 'Hot Key" perhaps or some simple way w/o
pressing several keys and doing unnatural acts ?
I tried Googling this, but seems I don't know the right Jargon to even
ask the question

PS - Windows USED to have a web site to ask questions for any version,
but that Web Site went defunct...."Annoying Windows Questions" -

probably got crushed under the weight of all those windows annoyances :)

something like that.
Is there any newer web site of that nature around now ?
ALT-TAB doesnot work ?

YES ! Great ! Thank you !

What is the name of those (I assume there are more) jumps ? JARGON Name ?

try searching on "windows keyboard shortcuts"
