What about a new SeaMonkey? Version 2.46 has fixed the selection
source bug. I got mine here:

Scroll to the bottom of the list and choose one of the comm-releases.
This version of SeaMonkey is not released yet, and perhaps never.
I prefer to use a "Released version" instead of a "Beta version".
