But what is the filename or extension I search for in indows explorer
to find the other profile on my computer.

You did, with numerous confusing and misleading typos.
The index files (not "fills") on Windows are *.msf, not *.snm. My
Windows installation has no files anywhere in the profile named *.snm. I
can't say what they will be on Linux.
Ah. Yes. Sorry! :-(
Where do I get snm from??
