Hi,
I saw this bug several times with different SM versions on OS X.
When another application opens SM and asks for a webpage, the sessionstore file
is being emptied! I mean that SM will not open the pages/tabs it saved from the
last sessions, but will start as if it was the first time.
And if you go on working with SM that way, also the sessionstore.bak will be
empty.
I had to restore my (big) sessionstore.json from TimeMachine.
Eg: if you select the Help menu on Toast 14, it opens SM and a Roxio webpage,
the sessionstore will record only that page.
