Since updating to SeaMonkey 2.40, I notice that a number of Web sites
(but not all) require me to select the Logon, OK, or other such button
twice after entering my user ID and password. One such site is
<https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/index.cgi?GoAheadAndLogIn=1>; another is
<http://finance.yahoo.com/p?d=v1&k=pf_1>.
Is this a SeaMonkey problem or merely coincidental changes to those
sites?
I'm not on Bugz but Yahoo and others require me to:
enter uid, hit enter, wait a msec for next popup...
enter p/w, hit enter, wait a msec for main screen.
They've done it this way for months... maybe a year.
I never log out of Bugzilla, but for the sake of testing I did, and had
to enter my login credentials twice to get back in.
Could be because when I log out I see, " Your login has been forgotten.
The cookie that was remembering your login is now gone. You will be
prompted for a login the next time it is required."
