Thanks to all. I successfully used allowing non secure email clients. It was a chore to find it, but it worked well.
About my address being visible, I am surprised. I administer a mailman list but it makes the addresses incomplete looking like this: [email protected]. In fact, I see that in the archives, though I am not sure why the list is forwarding to gmail for archives rather than using mailman. Anyway, it is working.
