Johathan's UA spoof fix worked for me too, thanks!

If you don't want to spoof your entire UA for every website you visit,
I've been using (in about:config):

general.useragent.override.netflix.com

with

Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.11; rv:42.0) Gecko/20100101
Firefox/42.0

which simply overrides the user agent for that one specific website.
tested and works in SM 2.39, if anyone else is wondering.

Rather than make a specific spoof for netflix, would using the
"Advertise Firefox compatibility" work??
(Edit->Preferences->Advanced->HTTP Networking)

I have that feature enabled in my profile, and it did not work. I
believe it is because the Lightning calendar extension appends itself to
the end of your UA, and netflix does not see the string it is looking
for. The solution I posted above seems to be the best solution I've
found. The only downside is you'll probably need to update it every time
you update SM..

O.K., sorry for the noise! :-)
