Its taken me a couple of days to notice this. I'm running 2.35 under
Arch Linux (using the Arch build). Most things seem to be working fine,
including fixing the problem with accepting self-signed certificates
which was crippling my use of most of the recent releases. However....
Noticed a few hours ago that spell checking is not working, or at least
is only working sometimes. Its certainly not working in the email
client, and only sees to be working on some browser input (seemed to be
working when I was searching Google, but not when I was entering a
message in a forum). I've made sure that the English (GB) dictionary is
installed, but haven't been able to update the en_gb language pack - the
link I use
(Indeftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/seamonkey/releases/)
<ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/seamonkey/releases/> never
connects and I don't know of any other source for the language packs.
I also can't find the settings for spell checking any more (Edit >
Preferences > Composition > spelling). I've not used it in a while, so I
don't know if it was there in other recent builds.
Is anyone else seeing this probem, or is it something odd in my profile
(the one I'm using has been around for quite a while...).
Paul.
Spell check wfm using 2.35 on Mac OS X 10.7.5.
