Curious - I have that effect with 2.19 (Linux x64)
I saw that in 2.19 on Mac also. It's wildly inaccurate as to what it
says happened versus reality, if you have more than one account that
both get mail at the same time. Sorta like that "unread # bubble" over
the SM icon in the Dock.
