It's a bug in the mac version. The bug has been fixed in development,
and you'll get the fix in the next release, scheduled for this week.
...odd...I just discovered that enabling both of these two options
together in SM 2.0.14 Mac prevents SM from opening a Browser window at
all - on launch or on selection of New Window - I'd never had
"Aggressively look" enabled before. I can still get to the Menu
selections to deselect, then all returns to normal after Quit and relaunch.
Interesting to note, even though it's moot information now. I checked
and everything seems to be working ok on this point with SM 2.6.1.
