It will open the HTML file, but I have to open SM first and then double

Same behavior using OS 10.6.8 and/or 10.7.2. Is this a known bug?
Ok...it's actually worse than the above - SM 2.6.1 Mac appears to not
open HTML files or hyperlinks sent from other programs/documents directly.
In preforming a software update which requires a download from the
supplier SM opens to my Home page and not to the link which the my Pref
Panel referred. Same behavior for hyperlinks in e-mails.
Glad I haven't updated the machine I depend on most...hope this gets
fixed. Soon. Or am I missing something?
