Hi Anna-Lena,
the junction model can be configured to ignore specific vehicles,
pedestrians (or road users of a given type) (see docs
<https://sumo.dlr.de/docs/Definition_of_Vehicles%2C_Vehicle_Types%2C_and_Routes.html#transient_parameters>
). Does this suit your purpose?
Best regards
Mirko

Hi,
I have generated a sumo simulation of a street and a driving function for
it. Now I would like to extend this to include pedestrians, but I have
noticed that the natural vehicle driving behavior changes just by creating
the crosswalk.
Can this be avoided? Otherwise my results of the driving function with and
without pedestrians are not comparable.
Thanks and best regards,
Anna-Lena
