if you are running Linux you can use a pipe like
find src/microsim/ -iname '*.cpp' |xargs grep -l pedest|xargs egrep
-in "pedest|redyellow"
Explanation
1, Find all cpp files in src/microsim
2. Find all files which contain the string pedest
3. Look in the remaining files for strings like pedest or redyellow
Otherwise i have no idea!

I could also think of special traffic lights for pedestrian lanes
without a yellow phase.
