I think there is a misunderstanding somewhere. Your routing algorithm should be able to take as input a trip (origin,destination) and create as output a list of edges. By using using this edge list with vehicle.setRoute, the sumo simulation will use the route computed by your algorithm. You can easily automate this for every vehicle that enters the simulation (i.e. by looping over traci.simulation.getDepartedIDList) Am Fr., 16.
