This person would be a strong junior person who is an up and comer. This is a production role and they want this person to maintain and work on boxes, learn the environment, learn tuning and optimization, rotate logs and file clean ups. Be good at following instructions. Willing to learn and grow, help senior DBA's. Beeper rotation every 3 weeks. The Oracle DBA must have experience in the following, OLTP system administration and maintenance up to 10G, SQL performance troubleshooting and tuning, RMAN backup and recovery, using both GUI tools (Grid Control) and command line, PLSQL, SQL, Unix Shell scripting knowledge and oracle RAC, ASM.
