Hi,

I am an aerospace engineering undergraduate student and I am considering to
apply to the SOCIS ’15 programme and I would like to ask you a few questions
regarding one of the projects in the list. I am interested in the project for
calculating accurate planetary positions using JPL’s DE431. I do have a
software engineering background and I think that in combination with my
knowledge of celestial mechanics will make me a good candidate for the specific
project.

What I wanted to ask you is if we should submit the project proposal to you or
just on the SOCIS application form. Additionally, how much detail do you expect
in the proposal? Are we supposed to outline our workflow and set deadlines?

I would like to thank you in advance and if you have any questions, I am at
your disposal.

Thanks,
Dimitris
