I believe the loading time for Stellarium 0.13.0 on a cold start at 43 seconds
with a full compliment of stars is rather excessive particularly with a limited
splash screen. This I believe is caused by the checksum item.
Of course the next load once the checksum has been done is only 4 seconds.
However the changes made to the star catalogues mean that the catalogues are
different for versions prior to 0.13.0
This means that changing between versions 0.12.4 and 0.13.0 mean that the
checksum needs to be redone each time I change.
I need to run 0.12.4 (with sound compiled) as the main version because of the
lack of audio and video in version 0.13.0. This I need to run for test purposes.
